Sweet, thanks! And I didn't want to make any moves before I heard official confirmation that both pre-order items were indeed included at all retail locations.

The items will be one each for Assassin and Ritualist, the two new professions in Factions. All stores will have the same pre-order items. This has been confirmed by Gaile Gray's in game talk.

Just to confirm, Pre-ordering also gets you an extra day of playing, right? (before everyone else?)

from GW site

Guild Wars Factions pre-order package, which will include the Guild Wars Factions (GWF) pre-order CD, a GWF beta access key, a "friend" key that allows access to the beta event, a 14-day, 10-hour trial key for the original Guild Wars game, a tactical guide, and a quick-reference card. The Guild Wars Factions pre-order key also adds one unique item for each of the game's two new professions, the Ritualist and the Assassin, and authorizes the user to play Guild Wars Factions 24 hours before the game's street date in spring 2006. The Guild Wars Factions pre-order package will be available in retail stores nationwide beginning February 28.

Pre order benefits.
If im already playing the original guild wars then will i get any benefit at all from pre ordering it? besides the fact of not having to search mulyiple stores for a copy when its released? And does the pre order package cost any more then just going to the store and buying it on release day?

Thing is with Europe all material has to be translated into a number of different languages, this takes time and money compared to the large US market.

That's only because the German and French are stuborn and want stuff in their own language. The whole pre-order concept doesn't excist over here in europe, I think that's more the issue.

I'd give you my Ithas Bow for a Chimeric Prism if I could, seriously. At least the prism was unique in its own way.
I'm not even sure what you're complaining about. If it's store location, perhaps it's a bit difficult to arrange the pre-order shipment to certain stores this early? Europe is a pretty big area with a wide variety of countries of people who speak different languages, and have different cultures. I'm not sure if there's anything like the US Wall-Mart spread across the entire continent for them to distribute the packages through, but it would seem like that's not the case.
Whatever the case may be, the pre-order has JUST started, and the game won't even be out for at least after March, you might want to try a little patience before the attitude.

I guess the poster is a sort of compensation for having to wait an extra month(nearly) for a box..

If its any consolation, it seems usually to be the case with PC games that they become available in Europe much more quickly at a price translated to dollars which is much lower than what can be found in the US. What I mean is, if I keep an eye on my local internet shops here in Denmark, I can usually get a new game discounted at a much lower price than I could get the same game at the same time in the US.
Hurray for discounting! I could wait a few weeks before joining the Factions crowd and by then the first wave of Assassins should have been gone ....

Coolsti - that is very true, I normally buy from Europe because even with shipping it is often cheaper than buying the game in Australia.

What about Australia....There are 3 EB stores in my state and they are 500kms away. SO I wont have the opportunity to pre-order and will have to wait longer to even get the game

and OP quit whining bro, ANet is an american company and those who wrote that on the main site prolly dont know alot about the EURO chains, or maybe EB and best buy and stop are all in europe and the ones listed in the AM part are universal
